Video Policy
Stream it, make videos, earn from them
No need to ask
You are free to use footage and audio of 49 Nights in streams, videos, shorts, reels and guides, and to earn money from them: ad revenue, tips, memberships and subscriptions on YouTube, Twitch or any other platform.
1You can
- Use gameplay footage and sound in live streams, VODs, edited videos and short clips
- Monetize those videos and streams, including sponsored content that is clearly labeled
- Make guides, reviews and critiques, positive or negative
- Share seed codes and challenge your viewers to play the same night
- Upload videos that contain the game's music and sound effects. We will not file copyright claims.
- Use the logo, key art and screenshots from the press kit in thumbnails and videos
2Please don't
- Redistribute the game files or app, or spread ways around paid content
- Present your channel as official or affiliated with the developer (for collaborations, get in touch first)
- Alter the logo, or use the game's assets in other games or merchandise
3Good to know
- Credit is not required, but naming the game and linking its App Store page in your description helps a lot.
- This is a general permission for every creator, not a license we hand out one by one. If the terms ever change, we will announce it here first, and changes never apply to videos already published.
- Some in-game icons come from game-icons.net (CC BY 3.0) and the fonts use the SIL Open Font License. Using them in gameplay videos is fine.
- If a platform's automated copyright system flags your video, email chrisyang9305@gmail.com and we will help right away.
